See what Zidane feels about Ronaldo

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane hails Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Frenchman insist that his forwarder Ronaldo deserves more respect despite his poor form so far this season.

The 32-year-old has 2 La Liga goals so far this season, but also have nets 8 goals of Real's 14 in Champions League. All 8 goals in group stage matches.

However, Ronaldo remains the all time scorer in the Champions League and working hard to increase his scoring ability.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid lies behind league leaders Barcelona with 8 points. Pre-match talk so far has been about Ronaldo's lack of domestic goals.

Zidane said: "Write Cristiano off at your peril".

"We have to give Cristiano a bit more support and show more respect".

"He's so good that when things aren't going quite so well for him, people start to talk.

"The people who love him and Real Madrid know what he's doing. He's working hard until the goals start flowing again.

"Last season he did a phenomenal job. It's a long season and we're only halfway there."

Coach Zidane also spoke on recent development of the Welsh forwarder Gareth Bale. The player returns to action after two months injury crisis.

Gareth Bale has not feature in La Liga game since 26 September, also missing last weekend draw against Athletic Bilbao.

Real's Coach Zidane said, Bale would be traveling with the squad this month to the United Arab Emirates for the FIFA Club World Cup.
"He still hasn't trained with us." "He's out on the pitch doing bits, but not alongside the team," he added.

Real Madrid will battle Dortmund on Wednesday in the Uefa Champions League final Group match.

The Spanish club side are already through to the round of 16 in the UCL. The both teams has played 10 games since 2012-2013, more than any other fixture in the competition over that time.
