 Will the Five English teams make it through the round of 16 in the Champions League?

The English Premier League registered 5 spot in the 2017-2018 Champions League. Its seems the all teams will make it through to the round of 16 if Liverpool secure qualification on Wednesday.

Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool were the first four in their league with an automatic UCL registration. Manchester United won the 2016-2017 Europa League cup to seal a place for the Champions League.

In Group A of the Champions League, Manchester United finished at the top of the table with 15 points, already a guarantee for the next level.

In Group F, Manchester City is dominating with 15 points and one match more to play. That indeed is a guaranteed qualification.

In Group H, Tottenham Hotspur is ranked number one in the group with 13 points. With a match to spare, either lose or win they still will Qualify.

Meanwhile, in Group E, Liverpool also in sitting on the top spot with 9 points. But they have to win on Wednesday for a top spot guarantee.

So far in all groups, the premier league side are doing a great job. Apart from Chelsea, the other club sides are currently on the top of their groups. This might make them face a lesser club side during the round of 16 draw.
